3D CAD and solid 3D CAD modelling has many applications in the product manufacturing sector. We create models that can be used for a variety of purposes throughout the project life cycle, especially to generate powerful photorealistic visualisations of objects and their applications thereby providing a platform conveying scale and purpose - a powerful medium for further creative inspiration and ideas.

Although 3D CAD and solid 3D CAD modelling can be used directly in the manufacturing process, resulting CAD models can also be used for other trade-off purposes particularly corporate/business reception displays on LCD/Plasma sets, where the product display can be combined with the business reception function:

• drawing & document management systems
• internet web display
• exhibition / powerpoint kiosk display
• meeting / conference room display on LCD / Plasma
• corporate / business reception display on LCD / Plasma flat screen
• CYMK colour output for use in printing

We can use the client's 2D CAD engineering drawings to create initial 3D CAD models and conceptual still views and/or moving part animations of the required object. This is an iterative process and once finalised, the model and resulting 4D CAD animation can be rendered to incorporate the required material and textures including most engineering plastics, steel, wood.

For some applications, we have experience of creating model approximations of objects from the objects themselves and/or from simple photographs.

Completed models can be used to create animated files such as those shown on this web page. These files, which are of small data size and are ideal for internet transmission, animate automatically when a web page is viewed and do not require user interaction.
